This guide will cover the process of conducting a Live 2-Way Interview with participants in RIVS through Zoom.
- Please Note: Zoom must be actived on your account to use this live option. Reach out to your account manager to activate Zoom.
- At the time of your interview, click the “Click here to join via your browser” link.
- Join as a guest, or with your RIVS Login if applicable.
- You’ll be prompted to download the Zoom plugin which will allow the interview to run on your computer. Click to open and run the download.
- The plugin will install and the interview will open.
- If you have already downloaded the Zoom plug-in, click Launch Application.
- Position yourself onscreen and select your audio option:
- If you’d like to join the interview using your computer’s microphone and speakers, click Join Audio Conference by Computer.
- If you’d like to join by phone, click the join by phone tab, dial the number provided and click Done.
- When your interview is over, select the “Leave Meeting” icon in the bottom right corner to end your interview.
